This patch is a program that will modify certain files that were included in the initial US
retail version of Re-Volt.

Items Addressed

     This patch will resolve the problems that have been associated with Gateway
     Computer systems 
     Will fix the problem of returning to the desktop or system freezes after running the
     Re-Volt executable. 


To implement the patch, create a temporary directory on the drive on which Re-Volt was
installed. Run the patch. It will search for Re-Volt executables on that drive, and modify
the required files.

Follow these directions to create a temporary directory on your hard drive. Click your
START button, click on Programs, click on WINDOWS EXPLORER. When your Windows
explorer comes up click on FILE, then NEW, then FOLDER. This will create a new folder on
your hard drive that you can rename by pressing the BACKSPACE key and then typing the
new name of the folder (example: Revolttemp). When you download the patch please
make sure you specify this new folder at the download screen.
