BB&B POLICY PAGE Revision #1.0 August 24, 1998 The following is designed to cover a large number of emails that are received and not addressed elsewhere on the BB&B website. If the topic you are seeking is not addressed here, please refer to the BB&B website or email one of the BB&B members for more specific information. ============================================= USE OF BB&B TRACKS IN OFFLINE RACING LEAGUES: We encourage all Offline Racing Leagues to use BB&B Edited Tracks to further the enjoyment of racing in their league. We just have a few requests we make from all Leagues prior to using BB&B tracks. #1 - Inform us that you will do so. We want to post a link to you as well !!! #2 - Use only tracks that are already released. Never count on a track that is not released !!! #3 - NEVER ask us to make a track for your league. #4 - DO NOT post the track on your website. You may post a link to the BB&B website html code for the track as follows: http://simcyberworld.simplenet.com/bbb/n2william.htm But you cannot post a link to the n2william.zip file !!! The other option here is to tell people where to get the tracks without providing a link. #5 - Identify all tracks you are using that are BB&B tracks as such. We simply want credit for our work. ============================================= THE POSTING OF BB&B TRACKS ON OTHER WEBSITES: In the past this has been expressely forbidden. It still is, however our policy is somewhat changed. You may now post our tracks as long as you DO NOT post a link to our zip or exe files or post our zip or exe files on your site. The only thing you are allowed to do is to post a link to our html code for the individual track pages. The html links will not change unless we move our server. ALLOWED > http://simcyberworld.simplenet.com/bbb/n2william.htm NOT ALLOWED > http://simcyberworld.simplenet.com/bbb/n2william.zip NOT ALLOWED > Posting the n2william.zip file on your server !!! =============================================== SHOULD YOU HAVE QUESTIONS ABOUT THESE POLICIES: Before you contact anyone with questions, make certain that you have checked over the BB&B site. Many common questions can be answered there. Also, remember not to contact us regarding track editing questions or future projects. We simply do not have time to answer these types of questions. If you still are unable to find an answer to your question about BB&B contact one of the BB&B members. Thanks, Chas Bornemann Brian Fox Andre DeBoer Marcelo Bassino Matt Harper
